Dual Brazilian-American citizenship aside, Celyta’s story with Brazil really began in the early 90’s with The Plaza Hotel in NYC where she was part of the sales and marketing team the Trumps hired to reposition the hotel in the luxury and international markets. Celyta pioneered efforts in the Brazilian market positioning The Plaza as a NYC “must” for Brazilian travelers. And by association, “CelytaJackson” became a hospitality brand that is widely recognized to this day.

Always a hotelier by heart and vocation, she is newly appointed to the position of Director of Sates for The Setai Hotel in Miami Beach and will lead the charge in developing the Latin American and Asian leisure travel markets for “Miami’s #1 Hotel.
