Gensler architect and principal in the London office, Tom has over 25 years of international experience in mixed-use architecture, hospitality, and museum design. His role as global leader of Gensler’s Hospitality practice has led him to create numerous outstanding projects driven by his client’s design aspirations and financial objectives.
The Gensler London team has designed projects in Europe and the Mediterranean, the Middle East, the USA, and South East Asia. Tom’s experience and global awareness ensure that Gensler’s design and delivery of multi-use hotel and resort projects will enhance the client’s portfolio, compliment the operator brand, and create memorable experiences for the guests.
His experience also includes design and planning for several museums and galleries in the United States and Europe. He teaches and lectures on architecture, lighting design and museum design at universities in the U.S. and London. Tom holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of Utah and an undergraduate degree in the History of Science and Technology from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
